Toward Thing-to-Thing Optical Wireless Power Transfer: Metal Halide Perovskite Transceiver as an Enabler

چکیده
This paper proposes a novel conceptual system of optical wireless power transfer (OWPT) between objects, which is different from the existing OWPT systems such that single device—an transceiver—is employed. transceiver, capable both absorbing and emitting light, fabricated metal halide perovskite known for its superior features can help significantly reduce whole size cost. The proposed contributes to realizing thing-to-thing network, in surfaces objects/things are covered by transceivers (fully or partially), enabling them wirelessly charge discharge others.

Information as thing
Three meanings of “information” are distinguished: “Information-as-process”; “information-as-knowledge”; and “information-as-thing,” the attributive use of “information” to denote things regarded as informative. The nature and characteristics of “information-asthing” are discussed, using an indirect approach (“What things are informative?“). Varieties of “informationas-thing” include data, text...
متن کاملMetal halide perovskite light emitters.
Twenty years after layer-type metal halide perovskites were successfully developed, 3D metal halide perovskites (shortly, perovskites) were recently rediscovered and are attracting multidisciplinary interest from physicists, chemists, and material engineers. Perovskites have a crystal structure composed of five atoms per unit cell (ABX3) with cation A positioned at a corner, metal cation B at t...
متن کاملMetal halide perovskite nanomaterials: synthesis and applications
Nanomaterials refer to those with at least one dimension being at the nanoscale (i.e. <100 nm) such as quantum dots, nanowires, and nanoplatelets. These types of materials normally exhibit optical and electrical properties distinct from their bulk counterparts due to quantum confinement or strong anisotropy. In this perspective, we will focus on a particular material family: metal halide perovs...
متن کاملWhen is one thing equal to some other thing?
One can’t do mathematics for more than ten minutes without grappling, in some way or other, with the slippery notion of equality. Slippery, because the way in which objects are presented to us hardly ever, perhaps never, immediately tells us–without further commentary–when two of them are to be considered equal. We even see this, for example, if we try to define real numbers as decimals, and th...
متن کاملWonderful Thing
W ith the increased dependence on networks and the near ubiquitous availability of the Internet, there is a new paradigm in place for the proliferation of spyware, viruses, and other malware. In fact, much attention has been given to spyware in popular literature with reports from multiple sources indicating that spyware has perhaps reached 90% home user PCs [2]. There is reason to believe this...
